Networking Events:

Each year LCS organizes several networking events to help students engage with the large number of attorneys in the greater Chicago area. Examples of our networking events include:

  • Speed Networking Receptions: Held in fall, these events bring together students interested in developing a business/corporate practice and attorneys practicing in these areas of law. Events vary from year to year, and in past years have included a corporate transactional event and a corporate compliance event.
  • 3L Networking Reception: Held in the spring, this event brings together our third year law students with our practicing alumni who are excited to welcome our soon-to-be graduates in to the College of Law alumni family!

3L Mentor Program

This mentor program provides a unique opportunity for third-year students to meet an experienced Chicago area attorney, learn about practicing law, and continue to develop a professional network prior to graduation. For additional information about this program, please email
