The Mindfulness Room is a quiet space for the College of Law community to use when anyone needs a moment to sit in quiet, meditate, pray, reflect, or otherwise have a peaceful and restorative movement away from the stress of law school. The room has pillows, blankets, yoga mats, candles, and a water fountain to aid in relaxation.

The Division of Mission and Ministry strengthens institution-wide attention to the religious and spiritual development of students and to service with people who are poor and marginalized. These are integral dimensions of DePaul’s Catholic-Vincentian mission and essential elements of the DePaul student experience. DMM's work has a positive, visible, and measurable impact on the religious and spiritual life of the DePaul community.
University Counseling and Psychological Services (UCAPS) helps remove barriers to learning by providing the following services to currently enrolled DePaul students:
Same Day Consultation (SDC) is available to help students determine the best way to proceed based on their current and unique needs.
Group Counseling is offered at the Lincoln Park and Loop campuses for students struggling with both specific issues and with general concerns.

DePaul has regular prayer and mediation opportunities within Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist and spiritual traditions.
Visit the recently expanded Loop Fitness Center and Studio for a great individual workout or to join a group for midday or after work classes! The Fitness Center and Studio (located in the basement of CDM) access is free to all enrolled DePaul students and faculty/staff.
We have two student lounge areas (2nd/7th floors) where students can study, relax or catch up with friends. We also have a fun game room stocked with board games, air hockey and a fooseball table.

At the national and state levels, lawyer and law student wellness is a priority for organizations, such as the American Bar Association (ABA), the Illinois Commission on Professionalism (2Civility) and the Lawyers' Assistance Program, among others.
LAP’s mission is “to help lawyers, judges, and law students get assistance with substance abuse, addiction and mental health problems; to protect clients from impaired lawyers and judges; and to educate the legal community about addiction and mental health issues."
