College of Law > Alumni > Giving

Your generosity makes a real, tangible impact in the lives of our students:

  • Scholarships: 100% of students in the Fall 2019 entering class received a scholarship award to ensure that all students, regardless of financial need, have access to a high-quality legal education;
  • Student Support: 26 students received $1,000 Bar Study Financial Assistance awards to offset bar exam-related expenses.  (In 2019, DePaul Law experienced a 7.5% increase in bar passage rates, the largest increase of any Illinois law school);
  • Living the Vincentian Mission: Law students and volunteers served approximately 350 people experiencing homelessness in Chicago, as part of our Neighborhood Legal Assistance Project (NLAP).
***We are proud to announce the launch of the Hay Endowed Scholarship Challenge. As part of this challenge, donors who contribute $25,000 or more to create a new endowed scholarship at the law school will have their donations matched (up to $25,000). To learn more about this special opportunity to make an impact, please contact Alan Paberzs at 312-362-8972 or***
