DePaul’s Health Law Institute will be sending two teams to the L. Edward Bryant, Jr. National Health Law Transaction Moot Court Competition on March 21, 2014. Three-person student teams will prepare a legal memorandum with legal and business advice for their hypothetical health care client. Each team will present their recommendations to a distinguished board comprised of attorneys and health care executives.
One of DePaul’s two teams is made up of second-year DePaul University College of Law students, Yeni Adetola, Haley Guion, and Tejonne Vinson. Team member Yeni Adetola graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a major in Criminal Justice. Teammate Haley Guion graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in English and certificates in Religious Studies and European Studies. The final team member, Tejonne Vinson, graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned her degree in advertising.
The other DePaul team is made up of two second-year DePaul University College of Law students and one third-year student, Jennifer Chow, Yesenia Perez, and William Michael Lauth, respectively. Team member Jennifer Chow graduated from the University of Southern California with a double major in psychology and communications. Teammate Yesenia Perez earned a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and Spanish linguistics from Rutger’s University. Teammate William Michael Lauth graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington, majoring in economics with a minor in legal studies. He will be completing his final year of studies this spring, pursing a Certificate in Health Law.
