There are a number of resources that have been created to assist alumni in the job search. Resource guides are available in the Document Library on Vincent. Examples of guides that may be of benefit include the Alumni Resource List, the Alumni Job Search Guide and the Chicago Area Law Firm "4 or More" List. These resources not only allow alumni to research the job market but also give important information on making the best case for an application.

Be sure to track down professional/trade organizations for practice area(s) of interest. These organizations often have job postings and are a great resource for networking opportunities.

Always remember, the best job search combines Internet research with in-person networking and a detailed job search plan. Having a one-on-one appointment with a counselor is an important firm step in the job search.
