Internship and externship opportunities provide students with
valuable legal experience and serve as a significant first step on their
career paths. CAMCHL assists students with career development and
networking by helping students gain internship and externship positions
in local, national and international law firms, museums, government
offices, cultural institutions and nonprofit organizations. CAMCHL also
helps provide students with scholarships to assist with the financial
costs of these externships.
Recent externship placements include the Chicago History Museum,
the Field Museum of Natural History, U.S. Customs and Border Protection,
Sotheby’s, the Association on American Indian Affairs and the Art-Law
Centre at the University of Geneva.
