The Uniform Bar Exam

The Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) is administered in over 30 jurisdictions. It is coordinated by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE) and is comprised of the Multistate Essay Exam (MEE), the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE) and the Multistate Performance Test (MPT). The UBE results in a portable score that can be transferred to other UBE jurisdictions. Each jurisdiction sets its own minimum score for passing and determines its own grading criteria.
