SaDella Duval d’Adrian, President
My name is SaDella Duval d’Adrian, and I am a 3L. I graduated from the University of Arizona, and prior to starting at DePaul Law, I was an HR manager, held other high-level management positions at two retail companies, and was a small business owner. At DePaul, I have had the pleasure and honor of being involved in the Student Bar Association (SBA), Black Law Students Association and Moot Court.
I am honored to have been elected SBA president for the 2022-2023 academic year. As SBA president, you have my commitment that SBA will continue to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where every student has a voice.
Leni Morales, Vice President
My name is Leni Morales, and I am a 3L. I joined SBA during my 2L year as a senator and wanted to continue serving the DePaul Law student body. I am interested in intellectual property law and love the subject of law as a whole. I am excited and ready to serve as the SBA vice president for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Emad Mahou, Treasurer
I am Emad Mahou, and I am a 3L. I am originally from Damascus, Syria, where I completed a bachelor’s degree in architecture at Damascus University before becoming an integral part of the Syrian peaceful uprising for freedom and democracy in 2011. As a DePaul Law student, I serve as senior managing editor of the DePaul Journal for Social Justice, and I am excited to serve as SBA treasurer and chair of the College of Law’s Diversity Committee for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Haley Pennington, Secretary
I am Haley Pennington, and I am a 2L. Before law school, I studied dance and business at the University of Alabama. During my 1L year, I served as an SBA senator, as a member of the First Generation Law Student Organization, and as a Chicago Volunteer Legal Services volunteer.

Madeline Hudson, Director of Communications
I am Madeline Hudson, and I am a 2L. Before law school, I graduated with a bachelor's in public affairs from Indiana University Bloomington, and I worked remotely as a paralegal for Indiana's largest free civil legal assistance provider for low-income residents. I believe that building a brand for DePaul's SBA is an essential part of the organization's presence on campus and creates a system of communication that reflects the wishes of the student body.

Megan Resener, Director of Events
My name is Megan Resener, and I am a 2L. I received my BS in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University Bloomington. Before attending law school, I worked for three years in the Office of Alumni Relationships and Development for the University of Chicago’s Laboratory Schools. During the 2021-2022 school year, I was a Schiller DuCanto & Fleck 1L Family Law Fellow. I am actively pursuing a family law certificate and hope to one day concentrate my practice on family law.
As SBA director of events for the 2022-2023 academic year, I look forward to planning various fun and engaging events for the entire DePaul Law community.
George Encarnacion Jr, Speaker of the Senate
I am George Encarnacion, and I am a 2L interested in criminal law and public policy. Before attending law school, I received by BS, with honors, in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. I later worked as a field service engineer for Pall Corporation. At DePaul Law, I am a staff writer for the DePaul Journal of Health Care Law and served as an SBA 1L senator.
As SBA speaker of the senate for the 2022-2023 academic year, I am committed to ensuring all senators feel supported and empowered as they represent their peers.
