Experience

In today's job market, practical legal experience is a "must" for successful candidates. Real-world experiences can also balance the rigors of the classroom and remind students of why they wanted to attend law school in the first place. DePaul students have a wide variety of choices when it comes to taking on real cases with actual clients, from traditional clinical experiences and field placements that last at least one semester to shorter, intensive service trips and pro bono and service opportunities that may take as little as one day. Regardless of your experience level or area of interest, you will find a way to gain real-world legal experience at DePaul.
