Deborah LaGioia joined the College of Law in 1998. After serving for one year as LLM Program Coordinator, she was promoted to Assistant Dean for Marketing & Communications. In that role, she was responsible for all College of Law strategic marketing and communications efforts. In 2012, she was again promoted and served as Assistant Dean for Institutional Effectiveness. In this role, she was primarily responsible for ensuring that the College of Law fulfills its annual academic assessment and ABA accreditation requirements; drafting proposals for new and revised academic programs; assisting with the College of Law’s strategic planning efforts; and fulfilling the various market research needs of the dean. In early 2020, her roles were combined, and she now handles all College of Law accreditation matters along with the College's marketing communications functions.
