Mark J. Watychowicz has over 20 years of experience specializing in Real Estate Law. He currently serves as an attorney for the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), focusing on Property Law and Real Estate Transactions. Additionally, Mark has been appointed as a Special Assistant Attorney General, which authorizes him to assist the Attorney General in representing IDOT in administrative proceedings before various bodies, including the Illinois Human Rights Commission, Illinois Commerce Commission, and Pollution Control Board.
Before joining the adjunct faculty at DePaul, Mark taught Property Law and Business Law at various institutions. He also served on the Disability Law and Education Law Committees of the Illinois State Bar Association. Additionally, he received a Certificate of Recognition from the Harper College Access and Disability Department for his contributions in supporting and advocating for students with disabilities.
