Brian is an appellate attorney whose practice has focused on environmental and energy law.  After graduating from Chicago-Kent, Brian clerked for Justice Mary Mikva and Judge Celia Gamrath before practicing in two Chicago-based firms in the environmental litigation and regulatory space. Brian currently works at the Illinois Commerce Commission as appellate counsel, defending the Commission's rulings on electric, gas and water utility regulation in Illinois.

Brian and his partner moved to Chicago in 2008 having been born, raised and educated in central Illinois. In their down time (should they come across any), they enjoy exploring the city, trying new restaurants and enjoying live bands in the greatest music city in America.
