Mario Ventrelli has dedicated his career exclusively to the practice of family law. For nearly two decades, he has litigated matrimonial cases for business owners, executives, professionals, celebrities, professional athletes and their spouses. Ventrelli is a seasoned litigator skilled in complex litigation including; valuation of closely-held businesses and corporations; allocation of retirement plans and benefits; analysis of executive compensation; personal and corporate taxation issues; property division; maintenance/alimony; and child custody and support. While his primary practice is in Lake County, Illinois, Ventrelli regularly litigates cases in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Winnebago, McHenry and Will counties.
When strategizing with a client, Ventrelli analyzes and quantifies all aspects of the case, thus taking a cost/benefit approach to the litigation. As a result of his litigation prowess, Ventrelli is a sought-after, national lecturer and presenter on a wide variety of family law topics including trial advocacy; compensation structures; negotiation and mediation tactics; asset and income discovery and classification; pre-marital agreements; property division; trusts; and the impact on children in a divorcing society.
