Juan Carlos Linares is President and CEO of Association House of Chicago.  Established in 1899, Association House is one of Chicago's longest-standing social service agencies with programs in Behavioral Health that range from substance use treatment to day-programming for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.  The House also serves families and individuals in Child Welfare services, Community Health, Workforce Development programs and the Association House High School which educates students aged 16-21, and whose infants are cared for during their course work through the Family Literacy Program. 

Juan Carlos has also served as Executive Director of LUCHA, a Chicago-based affordable housing development agency, as Chair of the Illinois Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, and in a cabinet-level role with the Chicago Mayor's Office.  Juan Carlos has taught graduate and undergraduate courses sociology, political science and civil rights law throughout his career.  ​
