Part-time JD Program

Part Time JD Program

DePaul’s part-time JD program gives you flexibility and options in planning your legal education. You can choose from a variety of concentrations and certificates. With the ability to select both day and evening classes after your first year, you can build a schedule that aligns with your work and life commitments.

    Part time JD student

I chose DePaul because it's a school that recognizes part-time law student does not equal 50 percent law student. I am 100 percent law student, 100 percent mother, 100 percent wife, and, for most of my law school career, also working full time. DePaul's part-time program keeps high standards, while recognizing that the juggling I do takes flexibility on both sides.

The class schedule allows me to work whenever I need to and still come to class at night… I don’t feel rushed to complete my studies. I’m able to get really involved. I can consult my professors on anything that I need to. I can take my time and really learn all this material instead of feeling rushed through it all. For me, that’s ideal.
