Natasha Mangal (’17) has recently accepted a position as an Early Stage Researcher for the European IP Institutes Network Innovation Society (EIPIN IS), a consortium of leading research institutions aimed at creating a legislative framework for fostering innovation and economic growth in the EU. She will be conducting cutting-edge research funded by the European Commission, examining legal mechanisms and business models that may facilitate access to creative works in a digital form. Her research will culminate in a joint PhD in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Strasbourg and Queen Mary University of London, accompanied by 3-month internships at CISAC and GEMA.
