Jamie Kleppetsch has been a national leader in the academic support field for over a decade and has held virtually every leadership position within the academic support community. An active speaker and presenter for the AALS ASP Section, she also was chair of the Section in 2020 and previously held a variety of other Section offices, including as chair of both the program and awards committees. She also has contributed to the development of academic support outside of AALS. She was president of the Association of Academic Support Educators (AASE) in 2016 and also hosted the 2015 AASE conference and the 2019 AASE Diversity conference.
