2020 Jaharis Symposium Moving to Online Format to Avoid Risk of Community Spread of COVID-19

With sincere apologies for the late notice, we have made the difficult decision to move Thursday’s Jaharis Symposium, Genetic Justice: Data, Privacy, and Crime, online. The same terrific speakers will be participating, but we can avoid the risk of contributing to the community spread of COVID-19 by allowing you all to watch the conference from the comfort of your home or office. While we will miss the opportunity for more organic conversation that occurs when we are able to meet in person, we expect the Symposium to be just as informative and high-quality—just delivered through a different medium.

If you registered for CLE credit, rest assured that you will be able to earn the same credits by participating in the Symposium online.
We are currently working out the details to make this as efficient and smooth as possible. Keep an eye out for information about remote participation (most likely via the Zoom platform) in a subsequent communication.

Thank you very much for your flexibility and understanding. As a health law institute, we are striving to model an appropriate response to the spread of this illness. Our top priority is the health and well-being of all of you and our greater community.
