Moot Court Team Victorious at the Hispanic National Bar Association Competition

DePaul's Moot Court team members - Eddie Cervantes, Liya Levin, and Tai Martin - competed at the National Hispanic Bar Association (HNBA) Moot Court Competition. The team won the First-Place award for Best Petitioner's Brief. The team went on to compete in the oral rounds against 29 teams. After five excellent rounds of oral arguments, they placed Second in the competition. As a result of their performance, these students won multiple scholarships and secured the highest award that DePaul has received in this competition. The dedicated coaches for this team are all DePaul alumni: Cindy Medina-Cervantes, Calvin Edwards, and Brittany Jocius. They have been coaching the DePaul Moot Court Team for the last few years, contributing much to the team's success. Congratulations to Eddie, Liya, Tai, and their coaches for this wonderful win!
