Members of the DePaul National Trial Team - Justice Muhammad, Karina Shumyatskaya, Henry Stillwell, and John Rodack - competed in the American Association for Justice's Student Trial Advocacy Competition, and secured the title of Regional Champions. The DePaul team was the only team in this regional competition that went undefeated, beating the other teams: University of Missouri, University of St. Thomas, UIC Law School (John Marshall), and Marquette University. In the final round, the DePaul team defeated Kent, earning a place at nationals! The National Trial Team coaches are Katherine Polak, Takenya Nixon, Miranda Niles, and Theodore Thomas.
