COVID’s Impact on the Foster Care System

Dean Jennifer Rosato Perea moderated an interesting discussion with Rachel Shirley (Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender), Tanya Gassenheimer (Shriver Center on Poverty Law), and Quincita Fleming (community member and advocate for parents) on how COVID-19 has impacted domestic violence advocacy, what it's like to practice in this area now, and the legal community's response to the pandemic.  This event was co-hosted by DePaul's Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center and Center for Public Interest Law.
