On Thursday, April 7th, ABC 7 hosted several prominent Chicago attorneys to discuss the historic confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson as the next Supreme Court Justice. DePaul College of Law's Associate Dean for Experiential Learning, Professor Julie Lawton, joined this panel. Professor Lawton commented that Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson will benefit the Supreme Court by "[h]aving that perspective, having that diverse background, having those diverse experiences I think can help inform the other members of the court, providing a perspective that they may not have."
