Technology & Data Protection Initiative 

DePaul Law's Technology & Data Protection Initiative reflects the growing need for lawyers with strong fluency in both the legal and technical dimensions of cybersecurity, privacy and emerging technology. 

Created through a partnership between DePaul’s Center for Intellectual Property Law & Information Technology (CIPLIT®)  and the Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM), law students—even those without a technical background—can take select CDM courses for JD credit, preparing you to navigate today’s most urgent technology law challenges.
