Welcome to the Student Legal Resources page. The Croak Community Legal Clinic (CCLC) provides legal information and resources to students and to the community who are representing themselves. CCLC does not take cases for full representation or represent students in court. Students who are in need of legal assistance should visit the Online Self-Help Center for resources and referrals. There are legal and educational resources that helps DePaul students better represent themselves in legal situations and provide general referrals on a wide variety of legal topics. CCLC focuses on educating students and the community on the law and enabling them to make informed choices.
Tenants' Rights Training
DePaul College of Law will be hosting a free training to help students understand their rights as tenants within the Chicagoland area. There will be a presentation followed by an opportunity to meet individually with a representative from the clinic. Self-Represented Divorce Clinic
DePaul College of Law will be hosting a free seminar to explain the divorce process and help prepare the paperwork necessary to file for divorce. You may qualify to attend if you: Desire to file for a divorce from your spouse; Do not have any recent history of domestic violence in your marriage; Do not have any retirement plans; and Do not own real estate. Dealing with Debt Seminar
DePaul College of Law will be hosting a free seminar with legal advice for getting out of financial trouble. We will go over the essential rules for surviving debt and help you understand your rights when dealing with debt collectors and credit reporting agencies.
