About the Center
For more than two decades, the Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center has helped train DePaul Law students, connect them with the family law community in Chicago and beyond, and support meaningful reform in the field. As part of the Family Law area of concentration, the Center supports students interested in issues affecting children, families and older adults through professional mentorship, field-focused programming and opportunities to engage with practitioners and leaders.
The Center sponsors lectures, symposia, community programming and 1L fellowships that deepen students’ understanding of family law practice. Through these opportunities, students can explore the many paths within family law and the role lawyers can play in addressing the legal needs of families.
