Each year, groups of DePaul students spend parts of their
well-deserved breaks traveling to serve people in need, including
detained immigrants along the Texas-Mexico border, the homeless
population in Washington, D.C. and families rebuilding in New Orleans.
These trips are generally sponsored by University Ministry and the Asylum and Refugee Clinic.
The destination and availability of course credit vary from year to
year, but one variable does not change these trips are inspiring,
often life-changing experiences for students who participate.
For more information on signing up for a trip, contact Thomas Judge at tjudge@depaul.edu for UMIN trips or Professor Siobhan Albiol at salbiol@depaul.edu for information about the based trip to Harlingen, Texas.
