​Internal Scholarships​

There are several annual scholarship opportunities for current DePaul College of Law JD students. These are internal scholarships that are awarded and administered by DePaul.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Complete the General Application on DePaul Scholarship Connect:

Log into the DePaul Scholarship Connect using your Campus Connect/BlueKey ID and password.
Complete and submit the General Application.

Your General Application will be marked with a green checkmark to indicate that it has been completed and submitted successfully.
If it is gray, the application was not submitted successfully; try again.

After Submitting the General Application, you can search for scholarships by name, check the recommended opportunities on your dashboard, or copy and paste the links given for the specific scholarship applications. Click on the blue “Apply" button next to the application name. Additional questions or information may be required to complete the application process.

After Submitting a Scholarship Specific Application, you can monitor the status of your application by logging it to your dashboard on DePaul Scholarship Connect.

The Law, Life, and Faith Award: Also known as the Carol and Anne Michelotti Memorial Endowed Scholarship, this scholarship was established to support students who are committed to practicing law while furthering Catholic and Vincentian values. For many attorneys, their faith informs their practice of law. Some attorneys face challenges when their faith comes into conflict with their practice. In thinking about your future legal career, we ask you to consider how your faith will affect your practice and career.	February 27, 2022	Almost $8,500 will be awarded to up to two law students. Breasties Scholarship Keith and Paige More have endowed this generous scholarship to provide recognition and financial assistance to students enrolled in the College of Law who have been impacted, directly or indirectly, by breast or ovarian cancer. DePaul Faculty/Staff Endowed Scholarship One outstanding student from each of DePaul’s 10 colleges is selected for this scholarship every year. It is awarded to a student in good standing who demonstrates strong scholastic achievement, financial need, and a commitment to DePaul’s Vincentian heritage, which places high value on service to the community and to other individuals.	February 20, 2022	$4,000 will be awarded to one law student.	Visit Website
Class of 1962 Scholarship: The College of Law Class of 1962 has endowed this generous scholarship awarded to senior law students who demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and participation in student organizations, student publications and other service to the College of Law. The recipient(s) will be asked to attend a function to meet the donors.	February 27, 2022	Almost $23,000 will be awarded to up to three graduating law students.	Visit Website
O’Hagan Scholarship James J. and Kevin M. O’Hagan have endowed this generous scholarship awarded to a senior law student who demonstrates financial need, academic achievement, and participation in student organizations, student publications, and other service to the College of Law.
