OVERVIEW
The 2026 Family Law Symposium will examine the following hidden forms of domestic violence as they arise in family law cases: economic violence between partners, technology-facilitated abuse, and the role of traumatic brain injury in divorce and separation cases. A judicial panel will also discuss what judges see in the courtroom and how practitioners can address hidden domestic violence in their cases. The Symposium will conclude with a networking reception.

Registration and Attendance
Please register by October 26, 2026. There is a room cap of 100 in-person attendees, and online participants will receive a link to view the presentation just ahead of the event.
You may be asked to show your ID while on campus. We know your time is valuable, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation.
Please note that attendance will be tracked, and partial attendance will receive prorated CLE credit. CLE credit is available to Illinois attorneys only; attorneys licensed in other states may apply independently for credit in their respective jurisdictions.
