Michael Santomauro serves as a clinical instructor with the Asylum & Immigration Law Clinic and staff attorney at the Clinic’s Legal Resources Project, which provides technical assistance and legal trainings to a network of over 25 partner agencies. Michael rejoined the Clinic in Oct. 2017, after working as an advocacy attorney with the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC). Michael began his career in refugee resettlement in 2007 and has accrued significant experience in asylum and immigration law as a legal representative since. He is admitted to the Illinois State Bar and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. Michael graduated from The State University of New York in Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2007 and is a 2013 graduate and alum of DePaul College of Law.
