College of Law Reappointment

To members of the College of Law:

I am happy to announce the reappointment of Dean Jennifer Rosato Perea for a five-year term to continue serving as Dean of the College of Law.

Dean Rosato Perea has worked tirelessly to advocate for the college's students, faculty and staff. While the external pressures persist for legal education, Dean Rosato Perea has led the college with vigilance, inspiration and a strong plan for the college's future.

I concur with the findings of the review committee that Dean Rosato Perea is an ethical leader who creates a positive work environment. She cares deeply about her students and promotes the Vincentian mission. The majority of full-time faculty, part-time faculty, staff and alumni support her reappointment.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the committee for its work and to thank all those who participated in the review.

I also would like to thank Dean Rosato Perea for her work in her first term as Dean, and I look forward to working with her in the future.

Regards,
Salma Ghanem
Interim Provost
