Visiting Students

Visitor applications are accepted from second- and third-year students for one or two semesters. All visiting students must abide by the College of Law's examination schedule and professor's deadline for grade submission. Please note that this policy could make it difficult for visiting third-year students, visiting during their last law school semester, to graduate on time if the timelines and requirements of their home law school do not correspond to those of DePaul University College of Law.

To apply as a Visiting Student, applicants must print, complete and send the Visiting Student Application to DePaul. All supplemental documents should be sent directly from the home school to DePaul.

Required Application Documents:
  • Letter from the home school indicating the applicant is in academic good standing
  • Letter that states that the applicant is ranked in the top half of their class
  • Photocopy of the first page of the applicant's LSDAS report
  • Full transcript of all law school work completed, including the current semester
