Housing & Community Development Clinic

The Housing & Community Development Legal Clinic at DePaul University College of Law provides corporate legal assistance to organizations working in affordable housing and community development. Students have the opportunity to negotiate and draft contracts, negotiate deals, research legal issues, draft client memoranda, evaluate business issues with the client and the clients business team, and engage in extensive client counseling. Potential clients include existing cooperatives, condominiums, nonprofit developers, small for-profit developers, small businesses, community organizations, and others who need corporate legal assistance or legal assistance for a transaction.
