Registration

DePaul University requires that each organization register with the Office of Student Involvement (OSI). The registration process is outlined on their website http://studentaffairs.depaul.edu/involvement/. Student organizations must also send a list of officers and their email addresses to Dean White at dwhite@depaul.edu.

To register your organization, visit orgsync.depaul.edu. Use your Campus Connect login information to access the site. In order to register, you must be a current member and given administrator status for your organization.

To begin the registration process, you must be under your organizations portal.

  1. Click on "Organizations" and select your organization.
  2. On the left panel select "Settings"
  3. Update all relevant information (Upload current Constitution, Roster with a minimum 4 members, Advisor Confirmation and Officers must maintain at least a 2.50 GPA.)
  4. You must attend the student organization meeting for Law students
  5. If there are any missing components to your registration request, you can refer to the notes section, where a staff member from Student Involvement will correspond with you.

If you have any questions about the registration process, contact Martise Cooks, mcooks@depaul.edu

Each organization must have a faculty advisor from the College of Law faculty. This requirement is NOT optional for law school organizations.

Each organization must submit its budget request for the year and give it to the Student Bar Association's treasurer in the early fall. Also, each organization must monitor its budget with the College of Law's business manager's office. See David Bell in room 931.

Finally, be sure to keep your officer list up to date with Dean White, and she will distribute the list to the SBA, the Business Manager and other University offices. The list of officers should be posted on your office door.

Note(s): Journals and Moot Court do not have to register with the DePaul University.
