Public Interest Law Association
"PILA seeks to communicate to law students the needs of the underrepresented and the ways legal training can be used to effect justice in our community and the world. PILA provides law students with networking opportunities in the area of public interest law and serves as a conduit for law students to learn about different areas of public interest law. PILA raises money for summer stipends, which it awards to students who work pro bono in the public interest area.
