Admission
Admission to the program is open to students who have completed at least one year of full-time or part-time study and are in good standing at an accredited law school. Each student must provide a letter of good standing from their home school.
Applications are due by November 15 and must be accompanied by a $300 deposit that is nonrefundable unless the applicant is not accepted or the program is cancelled. The balance is due on December 1. Early application is highly encouraged, as enrollment is limited. In previous years, the program has filled quickly and early, making it impossible for every applicant to be accepted.
Students should not make travel arrangements, or otherwise assume they have been accepted into the program, until they receive formal notification by the Program Director of their acceptance into the program.
Cancellation
DePaul University reserves the right to cancel the program if enrollment is insufficient or because of extraordinary circumstances such as natural disaster, war or political unrest, or similar emergency. If a cancellation occurs, participants will receive a full refund within 20 days of the cancellation, and DePaul staff will provide assistance to arrange enrollment in a similar program, if available, upon request.
