Biography Christopher G. Evers comes to DePaul after working several years as an attorney for the Office of the State Appellate Defender, where he represented indigent persons appealing their criminal convictions. During this time, he also taught LARC III and other advanced legal writing courses at DePaul as an adjunct faculty member. Prior to his defender work, Evers worked in Chicago as a civil litigation associate at DLA Piper LLP and completed a two-year clerkship with the Hon. James Gwin of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. While a law student at the University of Michigan, he was a legal writing teaching assistant and a member of the moot court executive board. |
