Maria Harrigan graduated from Loyola Law School in 1988. She has been an assistant defender at the Office of the State Appellate Defender since August of 1988. During the course of her career she has argued in the First and Second District Illinois Appellate Court numerous times and in the Illinois Supreme Court once. Harrigan has taught the criminal appeals clinic since the fall of 2011.
