Julie D. Lawton joined DePaul in 2011. She previously served as adjunct professor and senior supervising attorney to the Housing & Community Development Clinic at Georgetown University. She received her JD, cum laude, from Howard University, LLM from Georgetown and BS, magna cum laude, from Florida A&M University. Prior to her legal career, she served as a financial analyst in the commercial banking industry, and after graduating from law school, she was an attorney with Morrison & Foerster LLP, where she handled a variety of corporate and transactional matters.
