Mark Caro

Mark Caro is an entertainment reporter for the Chicago Tribune and author of The Foie Gras Wars, published by Simon & Schuster and winner of the 2009 Great Lakes Book Award for general non-fiction and two prizes at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in Paris. Mark has been a Tribune staff writer for more than 20 years, covering the Oscars, the Sundance and Toronto film festivals, two Chicago Symphony Orchestra European tours and many other stories, including a three-part, 15,000-word series on retiring chef Charlie Trotter. Mark lives in Evanston with his wife and two daughters.
