Prospective Students
Facilities
The College of Law occupies nine floors of DePaul University’s Lewis and O’Malley buildings and is only two blocks from the state and federal courts, Chicago Bar Association headquarters and LaSalle Street—Chicago’s historic legal and financial center.
Through our wireless network, students with laptop computers can access the Internet from anywhere in the law school, including the library, classrooms, student lounge, and organization and journal offices. Although all law courses are held in the Loop, students commuting from other parts of the city and suburbs are free to use DePaul’s main campus facilities in Lincoln Park and satellite campuses in Oak Forest, Naperville, Rolling Meadows and O’Hare.
The College of Law is an integral part of the larger DePaul University, a world-class urban institution of higher learning. That means law students can enjoy the advantages of DePaul’s considerable resources, including access to the facilities of the DePaul Center, a Chicago landmark that houses the College of Commerce Library, the Office of Financial Aid, the Office of the Registrar, a student center with a cafeteria and recreational facilities, and a Barnes & Noble bookstore that serves both the university and the public.
