Public Interest Law
Public interest law seeks to empower subordinated persons and communities, to redress the imbalance of power between individuals and government, and to promote social justice. In DePaul's public interest law program, you explore a full range of social justice issues and gain insight into diverse approaches to public interest work. Chicago is a dynamic center for the practice of public interest law and provides many opportunities, from legal services to private law firms, to work for social justice and gain a competitive edge in this continually evolving field.
