On behalf of the dean, faculty and Staff at DePaul University College of Law, welcome to the fall 2013 entering class! I began law school in 1988 in DePaul's part-time evening program and I am a 1992 graduate of the College of Law. I'm confident that you will enjoy your law school experience as much as I did. You will experience an education that emphasizes diversity, human dignity and service to others. You will find professors that give you personal attention and support. You will join an impressive list of lawyers, judges, business leaders and public servants who attended DePaul University College of Law.
As you know, New Student Orientation begins on Tuesday, August 20 for evening students and Wednesday, August 21 for full-time day students. Our orientation program is mandatory and is designed to gently ease you into the academic program while providing you with many opportunities to meet the faculty, staff and your classmates. To best prepare for law school, my recommendation is that you simply relax, enjoy your summer and arrive well-rested and prepared to learn. This Admitted Students Website will answer many of your questions. It includes information about Orientation, tuition, financial aid, registration, housing and visiting DePaul. Should you have other questions, please contact the Office of Admissions at email@example.com or 312.362.6831. We look forward to welcoming you at Orientation.
