Law Career Services
The Law Career Services Office is pleased to assist DePaul Law graduates contemplating a job change or seeking employment. Alumni are welcome to utilize the many resources here at the office. We offer career counseling, access to job postings and a class-based email listserv, print and electronic resources, and programming throughout the year, all of which are tailored to assist individuals with finding employment or making a career transition.
Loan Repayment Assistance Program
The Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP), managed by the Center for Public Interest Law, was created to address the overwhelming barrier of educational debt that confronts DePaul Law graduates who desire to work in public interest law. Depending on the funds available, the LRAP typically assists 5 graduates per year. The ultimate goal of the LRAP committee is to build the LRAP endowment to allow for the amount and number of awards to increase annually. Applicants who are selected for an LRAP award must reapply for the award every year and will be eligible for a maximum of five years of LRAP awards.
Rinn Law Library Access
The Rinn Law Library has a dedicated space for College of Law alumni to conduct in-depth legal research. The Law Alumni Research Room features special access to over 50 law and law-related databases as well as other valuable alumni resources.
