Offered jointly with DePaul's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, the JD/MBA program recognizes the growing complexity of business organizations and the increasing interaction of management and law. The program integrates several functional areas of law and business and emphasizes the contributions each makes to the development of administrative excellence.
In addition, the curriculum allows students the opportunity to pursue multiple concentrations, providing an individualized and customized MBA experience.
Under the joint degree program requirements students complete a minimum of 76 credit hours toward the JD and a minimum of 56 credit hours toward the MBA. The Kellstadt Graduate School of Business will accept up to 16 credit hours for work completed in the College of Law. On average, a full-time law student will complete the JD/MBA in about three and one-half to four years.
In addition to core requirements, specific courses are required for MBA concentrations. Please refer to the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business website for complete MBA program requirements.
