DePaul Law and CIPLIT congratulate alum and adjunct professor
Jeff Becker, chair of Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP’s Entertainment and Media Law Practice Group, for being named to Billboard Magazine’s 2019 Top Music Lawyers list. The only Chicago attorney to receive this honor, Becker has represented numerous local artists including Chance the Rapper and Valee, as well as national names such as Pink Slip and MASN. His legal guidance has ranged from negotiating recording contracts to obtaining injunctions to prevent the selling of counterfeit merchandise.
