Diversity In Patent Law Fellowship Program
Each year, McAndrews offers a $5,000 fellowship and a paid summer
clerkship to a qualified first-year law student at an ABA-accredited
law school who has a diverse background, possesses a degree in science
or engineering, and is committed to pursuing a career in patent law in
Chicago. Applications for the 2014 fellowship will be accepted from
December 1, 2013, through January 15, 2014. As a summer associate, the
Diversity Fellow will gain experience in a wide range of intellectual
property law and will be eligible to receive an offer to return for a
second summer. To facilitate the Diversity Fellows professional growth
and learning, a member of the McAndrews Diversity Committee will serve
as a mentor and resource.

PLI Law Student Scholarship Application
The Practising Law Institute (PLI) awards scholarships covering the full or partial tuition cost for attending its seminars. Law students generally receive full scholarships
to most programs, except for a $25 application fee. Faculty usually
receive 70% scholarships to most programs. Scholarships are also
available to legal aid and government attorneys, judges, judicial
clerks, and employees of nonprofit organizations.
The completed scholarship application generally must be received by PLI no later thatn four (4) weeks prior to the start of the seminar. Scholarships will not be granted retroactively or at the time of the program.

ACHLS Scholarship Opportunities
(1.) The Art and Cultural Heritage Legal Society
Scholarship will be available to one 1L, 2L, or part-time student
(including 3L evening students) at DePaul University College of Law who
is working in a legal position within the mission of ACHLS. This
means anyone who is working in some capacity within the art or cultural
heritage law field over this semester or this summer. Even if you
dont have a job yet, youre encouraged to apply before securing work
this summer in case you do find a job in the field. The application
and all requirements are in the attachment to this email. Any

(2.) There is also a Kaplan scholarship available to a
qualified 3L for a bar review prep course. Send a copy of your current
resume, a copy of your unofficial transcript, and a statement of 500

The Richard Linn American Inn of Court Mark T. Banner Scholarship for Law Students
Each year, the Richard Linn American Inn of Court offers the Mark
T. Banner Scholarship, a $5,000 award given to a law student from a
